Staff Availability

At our residential facilities, our employees are available around the clock to attend to every individual need. During Community Engagement, our staff are attentive due to the smaller ratios. All staff have received extensive training and teaching to effectively provide quality, sufficient services.

Provide A Safe Environment

It is our duty to ensure a comfortable, safe and secure environment. Each bedroom comes equipped with keyed entry, and private closet spaces. Our vehicles are frequently serviced, equipped with emergency medical supplies and are handicap accessible.

Encourage Independence

The goal is to work with individuals as a team to form a sense of independence. We aim to make people feel more self-sufficient and confident through skill-building exercises and supportive services. 

Focus on Health

We take pride in having licensed and certified staff who assist with improving the quality of health for individuals at Resourceful Refuge; both physically and emotionally. For residents in our facilities, appointments with physicians are frequently available, as are counseling and psychiatric assistance. Multi-disciplinary collaboration with outside sources to offer these health features is how we go the extra mile.

Develop Self-Esteem

One major objective of Resourceful Refuge is to aid individuals in developing self-esteem. Through various paths, we work together to build self-worth in people who may have encountered much adversity in their lives. We aim to help all understand that they are capable of accomplishing their goals and growing into people with something to offer to society.

Provide Job Experience

One way we help people enhance their self-esteem is by giving them the option to work in temporary jobs in the home. Sometimes the available job duties that are minor tasks to include: sweeping, washing dishes, and minor cleaning after themselves at dinner. All tasks are the choice of the individual with minimal risk. In Community Engagement individuals are provided training to obtain job skills.
